7So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.
This is a good thing for all of us to remember, especially those of us in vocational ministry. It's not one of us (or our programs, or small groups, or bible studies, or fellowship times) that cause growth in people...but rather the work of God. I think the best way to be co-labors in God's work is through prayer. It's a challenge to prioritize prayer over planning, scheming and developing. God help me.
